15. The Parkchester Field: Part 2
How do you eat an elephant?
In this week’s episode, Dale and Brian discuss the installation of the Parkchester Field they shared about in the last episode. When they arrived on site, they admitted that they wondered if they had ‘bitten off more than they could chew.’ This was a new type of project for the business, and there was a lot that they had to figure out.
Each step brought new obstacles, but the team tackled them one at a time and, in the end, installed a successful project. This project ended up being a ‘game changer’ for the business. It was the first time the brothers walked away from a completed project with a decent check for their families. It felt like the story from Placitas Man had finally landed.
Sometimes you must be willing to step out and chase something even when it doesn’t make much sense. They were ready to dive in, learn, & ‘grab the tiger by the tail,’ in the end, it paid off.
This story will inspire you to believe in yourself enough to step out of your comfort zone. After all, that’s where growth happens, and you’ll never know what could have been if you don’t take that step.
